Long Term Assignment Due - Monday, December 17, 2007 Treasure Bag Investigation Treasure bags are a fun way for students to use thinking skills while getting to know their classmates. Using a paper bag, each student should bring three to five objects from home in the paper bag that tells something about his or her likes and dislikes. Then each child should write a few sentences about their likes and dislikes on their bag without marking their names on the bags or the objects. Examples of treasure bag items are: Bag #1: picture book, baseball cap, bag of chips Bag #2 :purple socks, stuffed animal, postcard from a vacation destination Examples of sentences are: My favorite picture book is written by Patricia Polacco. I play on a soccer team. I buy baked potato chips with my sandwich. I love to visit New York City. My favorite color is purple. I own many stuffed animals.
