Greetings everyone! My name is Ms. Tanya L. Mock and I am a fourth grade
teacher here at East Millsboro Elementary School which was the elementary
school I attended after moving from Pottstown, Pennsylvania. I graduated
from Sussex Central High School in 1992 and attended college north of here
in Georgetown. I have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, a
Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's Degree
in Special Education. It's so hard to believe that I've been teaching for
almost 13 years already! Here at East Millsboro I get as involved as I
possibly can. I am a Lead Teacher for Science and the yearbook advisor.
I've worked on quite a few committees and attended many Language Arts and
Science meetings for the state as well.
I live in Georgetown and have a beautiful daughter, Kirstyn, who attends
East Millsboro. Kirstyn and I love to go to the beach, swim in the pool,
play games, and read books. I also enjoy supporting her as a competitive
cheerleader on the Youth Level 3 Team for Coastal Magic All Stars! Kirstyn
is the apple of my eye, and I'm so proud of her!! She's an amazing girl! I
also enjoy spending time with my boyfriend, Steve. We enjoy going out on the
boat, camping, watching sports, and attending Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers
sporting events!
Well, enough about me. I'm looking forward to another exciting and
successful year at East Millsboro Elementary!
