About The Teacher
Greetings everyone! My name is Ms. Tanya L. Mock and I am a fourth grade teacher here at East Millsboro Elementary School which was the elementary school I attended after moving from Pottstown, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Sussex Central High School in 1992 and attended college north of here in Georgetown. I have an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Elementary Education, and a Master's Degree in Special Education. It's so hard to believe that I've been teaching for almost 14 years already! I live in Lewes with my fiance, Steve, my beautiful daughter, Kirstyn, and our 2 dogs, Brandi and Dawkins, and our 4 cats, Cocoa, Baby, Stitch, and Poppy. We sure do have a zoo!!! During the summertime, we enjoy camping, going out on the boat, attending Phillies games, swimming, and heading to the beach. The school year is always quite busy as Kirstyn is a competitive cheerleader for Coastal Magic All-Stars Junior 3 Team and I am the team mom. We travel all over the Eastern Shore and sometimes farther, but we absolutely love it! I couldn't be more proud to be a mom!!! Kirstyn is the apple of my eye! Steve and I also try to attend various Philadelphia Eagles and Sixers sporting events in between cheerleading travels during the fall and winter months! Well, enough about me. I'm looking forward to another exciting and successful year at East Millsboro Elementary!
