In our new reading program, Treasures, we are working on Unit 4-
"Viewpoints". We will be reading stories that show a person's viewpoint on
how he/she sees the world.
In math, we are working on Unit 10 - Using Decimals! We will be learning
how to add, subtract, and multiply decimals.
We are working on our next science kit: Structures of Life. During this
science unit, students will have the opportunity to observe crayfish in their
classroom habitats. Students will also study the life cycles of Bess beetles
and the structures and their functions that enable these organisms to survive
in their natural habitats. Students will also dissect fruits to study the
seeds' physical properties, as well as focus on seed and plant structures and
their functions.
