Homework for the Week of December 14, 2009

There will not be any homework on Wednesday, December 16, 2009.  This is the 
night of the PJPII Christmas Music show and we encourage everyone to come out 
to enjoy a great evening of Christmas entertainment!

Math – a math worksheet will come home each evening (Monday, Tuesday, and 
Thursday) to be completed and returned the next day.

Spelling – Our words for this week are the number words for numbers 1-10.

1.	one
2.	two
3.	three
4.	four
5.	five
6.	six
7.	seven
8.	eight
9.	nine
10.	ten

Please have your child do the following activities in their spelling 
journals.  Remember that this work is not due until Friday, December 18, 
2009.   Your child can do a little at a time throughout the week.  If they 
should finish earlier than Friday, please have them send their journal back 
in for us to check.  Remember that there will be a spelling test on Friday 
this week.

Spelling activities (to be completed in their spelling journals)
-	Write the words three times each.
-	Write the words another time on a separate page and circle the 
vowels.  (If your child needs more practice with spelling the words, you can 
omit this activity and opt for them to write the words three to five times 
each.  
-	Choose three words to write in a sentence.  Again, this may take some 
helping out on your part – or at least some review.
