You will do many activities as you explore the life and poetry of Lorca.
There will be individual and group activities. Specifically you must:
. Read and investigate about Lorca´s life and works and then answer a list
of questions about them.
. Make a study and elaborate a page summary of Lorca´s life and works paying
attention to a particular period. Each member of the group will have a
different part of Lorca´s career
Role 1: Lorca´s Early Life and Works (till 1923)
Role 2: Gypsy Ballads (1924-1927)
Role 3: The Poet in New York and Cuba (from 1927 to 1930)
Role 4: Return to Spain and the Poet’s Death (1930-1936).
. Learn the process and elements of analysis of any poem and complete a
checklist on your Lorca´s poem.
. Discuss within your group some Lorca´s poems.
. Write and illustrate your own poems.
. Read your poems aloud.
Your research may be conducted on the Internet.
