I am originally from Buffalo, NY and have now spent more than half of my
life living in a much warmer place! After leaving Buffalo, I spent time
living in Roanoke, VA; Columbia, SC; Sumter, SC; Culpeper, VA; and, finally,
sunny Sarasota, FL! Our family has been living here for over 14 years. I
am married and have three children ~ Megan(25), Bryan(19), and Christopher
(15). I also have a grandaughter, Ashlynn Grace, who is 2 years old. She
is a joy and blessing to our whole family!
I graduated from SUNY College at Buffalo and received my BS in Elementary
Education. In 1999 I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and
Interdisciplinary Studies from National Louis University.
I will be instructing the children in the Technology Lab everyday with
lessons that are prepared using the Sarasota County Technology Curriculum.
Each grade level has specific objectives that I will focus on in the rotation
schedule.
The mission of Ashton Elementary is to help all students become productive
citizens and learn each and everyday!
