Here’s what we’ve done so far this year:
July:
- We updated our schools T.V Studio with $6,000 in new equipment. Stay tuned, this new technology should allow you to go to our school's website and watch your "Ashton Star" on the morning news!
August:
- We "rolled out" our new girl's style spirit shirt at Open Campus on August 21st! Thanks to our Spirit Shirt Coordinator Traci Douberly for helping us keep our Astro girls looking stylish!
- We also began our Adopt a Class program, on August 21st. This program puts $100 directly into your child's classroom for use by their teacher this year. Thank you Jeanette Apap Bologna for chairing this worthy fundraiser!
- We Welcomed our kindergarten parents with a coffee and light refreshments at our annual BooHoo/Yahoo Breakfast on the first day of school in the kindergarten courtyard. Thank you Ginny Wyatt for coordinating this wonderful event! Thanks as well to our wonderful specials teachers who were able to stop by and greet our kindergarten parents!
September:
- We held our annual Volunteer Welcome Breakfast, on Sept 2nd. Over 100 parents came out to view our volunteer showcase and signup to volunteer their time to help continue Ashton's high standard of excellence! Thank you parents for showing that you care. We're off to another great year!!
