About The Teacher
My interest in ASL started over 23 years ago when my son was born with a hearing loss in his left ear. I started out learning SEE (Signing Exact English). I have since went back to school to learn ASL, the language of the Deaf and I enjoy bringing this language to students at the high school level.

Mission
The mission for ASL classes is to learn basic sign language and sentence structure. To be able to communicate with each other and Deaf students in our school. Students also learn about Deaf culture and how it was started and how it has evolved in America.
