Each course will be taking a mini-assessment on their ability to compare and contrast; this "short test" will be given to each student before Christmas. This is a district manidate and I am not sure how it will be used.
I am setting aside Monday afternoons for collecting for projects and labs. If anyone needs anything they need to see me and I will do my best to collect it for you. SHORELINE PARK - MON DEC 14
KEY LARGO - March 21-26, 2010 - cost $675; see Mr. Bauer if interested (currently full; there is a waiting list)
ROY HYATT ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER WORK DAY - We are planning a work day Sat Dec 12 to build an enclosure for a new 100 lb Sulcata tortoise :-) Check with Mr. O'Connor if you are interested in the service hours for this.
WATER ACTIVITIES - we are again aloud in the water BUT all students must wear life jackets, they can not go in water over their heads, they can not snorkel, and an adult lifeguard must be present. We will not return to the Reef Project because Navarre did not get the grant - plus we can not snorkel :-)
