What are Factors?

The factors of 12-1,2,3,4,6,12

The factors of 7-1,7 because 7 is a prime number it only has two factors :1 and itself.

The factors of 16=1,2,4,8,16 Do it in pairs: 1 x 16=16, 2 x 8=16, 4 x 4=16, when listing factors you only list 4 once.
