Once each grading period, Mrs. Carballo will ask to see your child's music
notebook. The notebook assessment will count as 2 grades for the 2nd grading
period.
In each 2nd grade elementary music class notebook, your child must have:
1) The words to the Bob Graham School Song
2) The words to the Star Spangled Banner (I gave out a Star Spangled Banner
worksheet- this will suffice)
3) Their music vocabulary words and definitions (we wrote these in
class) for the current grading period.
For Grades 3, 4, & 5:
1) The recorder fingering chart & the Reading Music information sheet
2) Page 3 & 4 of the recorder song book
3) All recorder worksheets and/or music I have passed out during the current
grading period.
Elementary music class notebook checks will take place during the week of:
December 14-18, 2009. If your child is absent the day I check their class's
notebooks, it is your child's responsibility to find me so I can check their
notebook. I will not seek out students who were absent.
No notebooks will be checked after January 15, 2010.
