Our BGEC Spring Musicale date is Monday, May 18th, 2009.
Your child needs to report to Room 101 between 6:45pm and 7:00pm. No child will be allowed to
perform if they come to Room 101 after 6:45pm and they will not receive a make up assignment unless
the parent/guardian can prove an extreme emergency. This performance is worth 10 grades.
Tickets will be sold Thursday, Friday and Monday morning, May 14, 15 & 18th. Any remaining tickets
will be sold at the door the night of the show beginning at 6:45pm. Tickets are $5.00 each for ages
3 and older.
Singing Bobcats & Bobcat Chorale will be performing. This performance is worth 10 grades.
The Singing Bobcats and Bobcat Chorale need the following performance outfit:
Khaki Uniform pants - hemmed and not dragging on the floor
Their performance shirt - the shirt must be tucked in.
ALL BLACK flat soled shoes or sneakers
All black or dark colored belt
No student will be allowed to perform if they do not have their performance outfit. No child will be
allowed to perform if they arrive after 7:00pm.
A parent or guardian MUST BE PRESENT at the performance. No child will perform whose parents are
not at the show. You cannot drop off your child and pick them up later.
Performances are mandatory and The Spring Show is worth 10 grades. There is no make up for a missed
performance, unless the parent can prove an extreme emergency.
There was a mamndatory rehearsal from 3-4pm Thursday, May 14th in the Middle School Cafeteria. A
letter went home on Monday, May 11th containing information and a permission form for the show and
rehearsal. Any child who was not present at the rehearsal is not allowed to perform and must
complete the alternate assignment.
The alternate assignment is posted on this website as of May 15, 2009. If your child needs to
complete the alternate assignment, they have until May 21, 2009 to do so. The assignment must be
done in it's entirety. No partial credit for the assignment will be awarded.
