Dear Parents and Guardians of K-5 Students,
I am very excited to invite you to a K-5 Musical Performance on the night of our Annual Art show.
This will take place on May 27th at 6:00pm in the multi-purpose room. We will showcase some of the
songs that we have learned throughout this past year. The performance is expected to last
approximately 30 minutes.
The Kindergarten through Second grade will combine for 4 songs that will take us on a trip around
the world.
The Third and Fourth graders will be showing off their playing skills from the Recorder Karate
Program that they have worked so hard on all year.
The Fifth graders will be performing a 2 minute dance trip back in time, throughout the decades.
This performance is a wonderful opportunity for the students to show their talents to friends and
family. It will be optional to attend but those who do attend will receive an extra credit
performance grade as well as get to experience the great sensation that performing can give!
Please sign this pledge if your student will be performing on the night of May 27th and return to me
by Friday May 23rd, 2008 so that we can plan accordingly. If you are attending, please arrive by
5:45pm so that we may prepare the students for a prompt 6pm start!
