Objective
While in music class, students will learn how to sing, dance, listen and play
music in an open and hands-on environment as out-lines in the Sunshine State
Standards. (Please refer to the Overview pages for specifics on your students
grade)

Our class expectations are posted in the music room as "The Musician's Pledge"

*Failure to uphold the pledge will result in 3 chances to redirect behavior
before discipline action will be taken.

Assessments
There will be at least two assessments per quarter. These can be
performance-based and/or written.

Grading for K-1 will be as follows:
E 90-100 Excellent
S 75-89 Satisfactory
N 65-74 Needs Improvement
U 0-64 Unacceptable
Grading for grades 2-5 will be as follows:
A 90-100
B 80-89
C 70-79
D 60-69
F 0-59
