This is Mrs. Kneeland's first year at BSCS. She has taught K-12 music in many
schools in Maine for the last 6 years and is very excited to teach K-5 music
here in Florida.
Mrs. Kneeland received her bachelors of music degree from the University of
Maine in Orono, ME in 2001. While there, she participated in the Pride of
Maine Black Bear Marching Band (playing saxophone, trumpet and drum major),
the Screamin' Black Bear Pep Band (playing saxophone, trumpet and snare drum)
and the University of Maine Singers (singing Second Soprano and Co-Assistant
Conductor). She most enjoyed getting to travel with these groups all over the
Northeast and in Europe.
Mrs. Kneeland's husband also teaches at BSCS as an 8th grade Language
Arts/Reading teacher. They have a 2 year old son, Jonathan, who loves to
listen to the Beatles.
