About Your Teacher

Dear Students and families,
Thank you for taking the time to view your child’s classroom website. I
hope you and your child will find the information that is posted helpful
during this school year. Please continue to visit the site regularly for
updates and modifications!
I was born and raised in a suburb of Minneapolis, Minnesota, where my passion
for teaching began thriving at a very young age. When I turned 8, my dad
installed a floor to ceiling white board in my bedroom, which is where I
pretended to have an actual classroom. I was fortunate to have teachers who
inspired me throughout my K12 education. I received my teaching degree from
St. Cloud State University and a Masters in Education from St. Mary’s
University of Minnesota.
In 2005, my family and I moved to Southwest Florida. My husband Philip works
for Gartner in Fort Myers. My daughters, Sophie and Madeline, are looking
forward to attending another year at BSCS. Sophie will begin her third
school year as a Gator and Madeline will be returning for her second year.
Prior to my teaching experience at BSCS, I enjoyed my time here as a parent
as well. I look forward to meeting you and helping you and your family feel
the same way. Mostly, I look forward to meeting the children of my class and
begin to reach, teach, and inspire!
Being a teacher is an honor for me and I am thrilled to be part of the 2nd
grade team here at Bonita Springs Charter School.

	                                                Sincerely,
						        Mrs.Sarah Lee

Mission For The Class

My mission for the class is for my students to learn about life as they learn
about each subject area. I will provide opportunities for each child to grow
as people and feel good about who they are.
