About The Teacher

  Hi! This is my second year at Booker Middle School.  I have been teaching 
for 8 years.  I was born in Sarasota and I am excited to be working in the  
county were I was born.  I worked in drop-out prevention schools before 
joining the Booker team.  I have been teaching reading and language arts for 
all 8 of my career years and I can't imagine teaching anything else!

Mission For The Class

   My mission is to create a learning environment that provides strategies 
and enjoyment for reading.  This will be done through interactive technology 
with reading, direct instruction and independent reading.  These processes 
will create success in reading ability comprehension and enjoyment!
