I was born and raised in the Chicago area (Barrington), when at long last I
became brave enough to leave the nest and embark on my college experiences a
mere eight hours away at the University of Kentucky. In 1986 I moved to
sunny Sarasota to be near my parents, as they had moved here a year
earlier. Twenty-two years later, I still love Sarasota...as do my three
precious children: Ali, 24 years old; Brittany, 17 years old; and Slater,
13 years old, who is going to school right here at BMS!
