I was born and raised in Sarasota; attending Pine View and graduating from
Sarasota High School. I received my Bachelor of Music Education degree from
Florida State University and a Masters in Violin Performance from Colorado
State University. This is my 7th year teaching at Booker Middle but before
that I taught elementary through college level orchestra and music in Orlando
and Fort Collins, CO. I play the violin and viola professionally and enjoys
serving as an orchestra clinician throughout the state. I have two boys...Ben,
7 and Will, 4 that keep my husband, Jake and I very busy! I love teaching
orchestra and think the students at Booker Middle are great!
I want to students to enjoy learning to play a stringed instrument and instill
in them a lifelong appreciation of music.
