NOTES ABOUT THE SITE If you have problems reading a page--just go back to the home page and try clicking on the page again! The "schoolhouse" link on the homepage goes to Florida State, where I did grad work and where some of these pages were created! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BOOK CLUBS Watch out for book clubs. Scholastic seems o.k. But some book clubs use strategies that include doubling bills and adding in hidden surcharges, as well as sending items never ordered. And it's very difficult to straighten out an account with them sometimes, once they decide to keep billing you for things you never ordered and do not have. Amazon.com is, like scholastic, safe as far as I know and that is why I link to it here. It's not a book club but an online 'everything' store. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * AND DON'T FORGET Don't forget to to try taking the "Trip to a Black Hole!" Pictures of the trip are located at the "BlackHole Trip Links!" * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * AVAILABILITY/CONTACT I check my email (cewcathar@hotmail.com) regularly. I prefer not to accept email that is unsolicited or that is from someone I do not know, particularly if it has attachments, though I can sometimes answer a few questions (I will not open unsolicited attachments). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * APOLOGIES My apologies. The poem "E = MC Squared," quoted in the "Homework" page, was mistakenly attributed to Albert Einstein. This poem was actually written by Morris Bishop, and published in the New Yorker in 1946. However, many of the ideas expressed in it seem to me quite similar to Albert Einstein's own beliefs and misgivings about the use of the Atom bomb. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * (This site was last updated, 2007!)
