Writing

Writing is an integral component of tenth grade. Our students need to be prepared to write for the tenth grade state assessment, the SAT, and Advanced Placement classes. We focus heavily on the craft, and we expect our students to practice good writing habits at home as well as at school. Writing homework will be assigned.

Daily Bell Work

Every day we will begin class with a short writing activity. A grade will be assigned at the end of each quarter. Students are expected to complete the work.
