CLASS POLICIES & EXPECTATIONS
1) Attendance and participation are critical to your academic success.
Arrive on time and prepared for class. Late work will not be accepted.
2) Check my website regularly for all assignments, due dates, and test dates.
3) Help keep the room clean and orderly. Keep backpacks off the desks.
My desk, chair, podium, and other things are off-limits.
4) If you don't want me to confiscate your phone, iPod, or other
miscellaneous gadgets, don't use them in my class.
5) Restroom passes are given at my discretion as per school policies.
Utilize time between classes and plan your "emergencies" wisely.
6) Cheating &/or copying will result in a ZERO for ALL parties involved.
This includes all assignments, homework, and tests.
7) Profanity and other forms of disrespect will not be tolerated.
Class disruptions will result in administrative action.
8) Instructional time is bell to bell.
I will happily dismiss you when the bell rings. Do not line up at the door!
TARDY POLICY (Coral Glades High School Tardy Procedures):
1st Tardy = "Friendly Reminder"
2nd Tardy = Documented Parent Contact
3rd Tardy = SRI (After School Detention)
4th Tardy = 2 SRI sessions
5th & Subsequent Tardies = Referral to Administration.
ATTENDANCE PROCEDURES WILL FOLLOW BROWARD COUNTY GUIDELINES, INCLUDING:
1) Students are permitted to make up work and tests for EXCUSED absences ONLY.
Skipping class will result in a ZERO and a referral to administration.
2) It is the students’ responsibility to make up missed tests or assignments.
* Students must see me to arrange test make ups. No shows = ZERO.
* Previously assigned work is due when the student returns to class.
* 2 days per absence are allowed to make up work assigned during absence.
