Homework is graded based on completion not accuracy.  If the homework
assignment has been attempted and has a logical answer for each question,
regardless of accuracy, the student will receive full credit.  These homework
assignments are grouped together in a weekly participation grade which will be
labeled wk. 1, wk. 2 etc. in Pinnacle.   Each week has 20 possible points for
participation.  Every missing homework assignment or in-class assignment is
minus 5, every incomplete assignment is minus 3.

There is a calendar in the classroom with all daily assignments.  Students who
are absent from school are responsible for getting their own make-up work and
showing it to the teacher when completed.  Students who are absent the day of
a test or quiz must take the test after school on a Tuesday or Wednesday;
students who do not do this will receive a zero for that test or quiz.

The students have access to their textbook and workbook online, go to
http://my.hrw.com and use their login, already provided.  This site also has
practice activities,tests, grammar and vocabulary videos among other things.
