About The Teacher
Srta. Bias received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Michigan State University. She has a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Michigan. She studied in Sevilla, Spain and Quererto, Mexico. Srta. Bias has a communication based curriculum. She emphasizes real-world language application including listening and conversation skills. Srta. Bias uses a teaching technique called Total Physical Reading and Storytelling (TPRs) which uses comprehensible input to increase language skills. This technique requires frequent exposure to the language so attendance is important; each day that a student misses will make them fall 2-3 days behind.
