Kindergarten through fourth grade will spend the year by focusing on the Art
Elements Line and Shape. We will explore works by Picasso and Mondrian.
Fifth and Sixth will focus on Color Theory. We will be studying the
Impressionist school. Artists will include Monet, VanGough, and Degas.
Seventh and Eighth will tackle the complex element, Form. We will
review students knowledge of Greco-Roman and Renaissance Sculpture.
Discussions and projects will center on Artists such as Myron, Michelangelo,
Donatello and Ghiberti.
