PRECORDERS AND RECORDERS CAN BE HEARD THROUGH THE HALLS
(and the walls!) at Cornerstone School...
Your children have done a TREMENDOUS job of learning the note fingering
positions on their instruments. In addition to that, they have learned what
they need to do to control the amount of breath their blowing and the
position of their lips, which actually does make a difference to the notes.
The older students are reading the sheet music, transposing to letter notes
for quicker readability and sharing this with their classmates.
It's very exciting to see how some of them went from "my recorder doesn't
work" to "listen to me play this song". I am so proud of them.
