About Ms. Azevedo

I would like to begin by introducing myself. 

I was born in Miami Beach, FL. and I have attended several Miami-Dade County 
Public schools: Greynolds Park Elementary, John F. Kennedy Middle, and North 
Miami Beach Senior High School. My background is Portuguese/Brazilian; 
therefore, I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

My name is Miss Azevedo and this is my second year teaching at David 
Lawrence Jr. K-8 Center. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary 
Education with an ESOL endorsement, and am currently working on a Master's 
degree in Exceptional Student Education with a Reading Endorsement. I am 
currently the girls head volleyball coach at North Miami Beach Senior High, 
and the boys assistant volleyball coach. 

I am thrilled to be your child’s’ third grade teacher for this upcoming 
school year as I have planned a plethora of great ideas and exciting 
activities for each student in my class. I am looking forward to sharing my 
knowledge and adventures with your child as I hope your child is looking 
forward to an exciting school year too.

Mission For The Class

As learners in this classroom, we are all expected to listen, respect 
others, follow directions, raise our hands, say "please" and "thank you", 
keep our hands to ourselves, and most of all, do our best at all times so we 
may achieve the highest excellence in third grade.
