About The Teacher

Hello and welcome to our classroom website!  I am Ms. Rosenberg and I will be
your third grade teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. I am honored to be a
part of the DLK8 family.  Here is some information about me.

I received my Bachelor's degree from Florida International University in 2006.
 After graduating from college, I began teaching 3rd grade at Paul L. Dunbar
Elementary in Overtown.  I loved the two years I spent at Dunbar Elementary
because it challenged me and made me realize how wonderful teaching can be. 
Currently, I a pursuing my Master's Degree in Reading at FIU and plan on
graduating in the Fall of 2009.  I am also getting married in May!



I am so excited about being your teacher this school year!

Classroom Expectations

I believe that all children can learn with proper guidance and support from
both the parents and the teacher.  I expect students attend school every day,
participate in class, come to class prepared (including having all homework
completed) and be ready to learn and have fun.  

In return as your teacher, you can expect that I will be ready to teach you
every day by providing worthwhile and stimulating lessons, as well as
assigning meaningful in-class and home learning assignments.
