Hello,
My name is Ms. Herrell and I have been a teacher with Dade County
Public Schools for over 30 years. I have undergraduate degrees in
political science and economics and graduate degrees in elementary
education, guidance and counseling and educational research. In
addition to being a fifth grade teacher at Flamingo Elementary I was
also the EESAC Chairperson, UTD Steward, T4 Technology Trainer and
PACES Trainer for the district.
My mission for the 2008 - 2009 school year is to develop a love for
learning so that my students will become successful adults who are
not only assets to their family but to society. An education is the only
avenue students have to achieve the "American Dream".
