My name is Maria Barreiro. I have been married for 21 years and have two
beautiful daughters. My oldest is attending Florida International University
and my youngest is in seventh grade.
I am a graduate of Nova Southeastern University having earned a bachelor's
degree in elementary education with ESOL endorsement. I have been working at
Flamingo Elementary School since 2002.
I am an extremely dedicated teacher who cares for the academic future of all
my students. My door is always open to my students and their parents. I am
always willing to go the extra mile for my students and provide them with the
best learning experience possible. Together we are going to have an exciting
and educational year!
