Hi! Welcome to Middle School Math.
My name is Marlene Cardenas. I am originally from New Jersey but have been
living in the beautiful sunshine state since 1991. I have two children
(actually adults), Jon and Stephanie, and a 12 year old Min Pin named
Goliath.
I have been teaching at FAA since 2003; previously, I taught at Westside
Elementary School. I have a BA in Elementary Education from Rollins College
and an MS in Computer Education from Florida Tech. I am certified to teach
grades 1-6, middle school math, computer applications, and Spanish.
Currently, like you, I am also a student as I work on my Ed.D in
Instructional Leadership for Higher Education.
My hobbies are reading, shopping, and collecting shoes. I love spending time
with my family, and my passion is teaching math.
