Announcements

Please help your child practice writing his/her name with only the first
letters capital and the rest in lower case! And also remember to reinforce
knowing their full name, address, phone number, and birth date!

• Discuss your child’s behavior report attached in their daily folder with
them EVERY DAY, it makes a difference! Another reason why it is so important
for your child's backpack to be checked each day and the folder to be
returned as well! This daily contact is a GREAT means of
communication! Thank you for your support!

• Also, stay tuned to the daily behavior/snack calendar for our weekly
letters and themes! Reinforcement at home is so important in
your child’s learning process! You ARE their FIRST teacher.

• Sneakers MUST be worn on P.E. days! See your monthly Snack/Specials and
the Daily Behavior calendar from Mrs. K. It is actually best to wear
sneakers or very comfortable, closed-toe shoes EVERY day as P.E. is
scheduled into the curriculum now for a minimum of 30 minutes; mandated by
the state.

• You might want to keep a spare change of clothes in a Ziploc bag in your
child’s backpack daily. You never know? We have accidents of all kinds,
including lunchroom and... well, you never know! Be sure your child can
dress themselves, button, zip, and (PLEASE!) tie!

• Please remember to sign in at the Office to get a visitors pass/sticker,
whenever you come on campus during school hours, for the safety of all of
our children. If you would like to visit your child for lunch, anytime, our
time is 11:15-11:45. Meet us in front of the lunchroom, after you have
signed in at the Office.
