Mrs. Cunningham loves children. She and her husband had five of their own.
She has taught at Fruitville Elementary since 1996. Teaching first graders
is one of her favorite things to do. Both of Mrs. Cunningham's parents
were teachers. Her mother, Susan Crowley, taught here at Fruitville
Elementary. Her father, Bill Crowley, taught science and agriculture at
McIntosh Middle School. Although she was born in Ocala, Florida, she has
lived in Sarasota since she was four years old (and has never seen snow!).
Going to church, visiting the beach, reading a good book, planning parties
and fun times for her family and students, are a few of the things she enjoys.
Mrs. Cunningham's mission is to enable every one of her students to reach
their potential, excelling in reading, math, and every area of the
curriculum while growing in a loving classroom atmosphere.
