About The Teacher

Mrs. Alicia Crespo holds a BS in Music Education.  She has served in 
both public and private schools since 1994.  Growing up in Tennessee, she 
worked for the Metro Nashville Public Schools as an elementary music 
specialist and at Our Savior Lutheran Academy and Preschool.  She is 
currently employed by Grace Lutheran Church and School as PK3-7th grade 
music 
teacher and the church music director.  Mrs. Alicia directs church choir and 
is a soloist. She has sung with both the Nashville Opera and Symphony 
Choruses.  Mrs. Alicia is an Orff and Kindermusik certified music educator. 
She also has a piano studio in her home.  Mrs. Alicia is the mother of two 
girls.

Mission For The Class

Mrs. Alicia's music classes are child-centered programs that help 
develop musical, cognitive, and social skills.  Each child is an important 
member of the group and is taught to respect the feelings and ideas of 
others.  A variety of educational materials are used to give children 
experiences in music from around the world.  Different time periods, 
cultures, and languages are represented.
