Does my child need all of the supplies listed?

It is helpful if all students have the listed supplies, however it is a
suggested list. If there are any items of difficulty, please let me know so
I can help.

Why are we being charged for social studies materials?

I have ordered individual booklets for each child. The booklets are Studies
Weekly and it covers the entire Sunshine State Standard for Social Studies.
There are over 24 lessons that are an alternative to the book/pencil/paper
method and I feel all students will enjoy this alternative.

Will my child get to keep his/her field trip shirt?

Yes, but not until the end of the school year. The shirts will stay at
school and are to be worn on trips and for class programs.

Will my child have homework?

Yes. It will begin very simple and grow with the school year. Once a
schedule is decided, I will send home a weekly notice of what is due and
when.
