Can my child bring water and a snack to school?

Students are permitted to bring water bottles to school. The water bottle
must have a sport top though so that it may close in order to prevent
spills. Snacks are completely optional. Students will have a chance to eat
a healthy snack during their AR reading time (about 10:30AM). Parents are
responsible for sending a snack with their child if they feel one is
needed. Please do not send cookies, chips, etc. Pretzels, fruit, veggie
sticks, etc. make wonderful mid-day snacks!
