Homework

Homework is assigned each night Monday-Thursday. Students should bring their 
homework folder to and from school on a daily basis. Homework
assignments will generally include spelling/phonics and math.  The homework 
reinforces classroom lessons and therefore should be completed each night.  
At 2nd grade level students should typically spend approximately 20 minutes 
per evening on homework.  Additionally, I encourage your child to read 15-20 
minutes per night.  Please feel free to contact me should your child 
experience consistent difficulty with homework assignments.
