I grew up playing all sports and lettered in Basketball,Softball and
Volleyball in school.
Attended Auburn University, (Auburn,Alabama) on tennis scholarship. B.A. in
Anthropology.
Had the thrill of attending college with Charles Barkley and Bo Jackson.
Played professional tennis after college and achieved a ranking of #337 in
the world in 1989.I'm a U.S.P.T.A. certified teaching pro and taught for
numerous years before switching careers.
My hobbies are music and golf. I'm a drummer and have my own band.
This is my sixth year here at Highland Oaks and I think we have a great
school as well as the best students in the state!!!!!!!!!
I coach the boys and girls tennis teams and am the coordinator for the
Scholar - Athlete Committee. We have a stellar after-school sports program
here and have had great success winning numerous county titles in all
sports. Last year we won the title in Soccer, Swimming and
Tennis. If you are interested in donating any amount to
our afterschool sports program or any one particular sport, please e-mail
me, it will be put to good use and will be greatly appreciated.
My goal is to make sure every child has a positive experience with Physical
Education. Whether it's a child improving their skill to play a sport or to
improve their fitness level,most importantly my effort is to pave the way
for each child to have confidence and an education and
appreciation for a healthy, active lifestyle.
