ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR MY BEHAVIOR
In order for my classmates and I to learn, live, and work together in a
productive, safe environment, appropriate behavior is necessary. The school
system, the school, and each class have established realistic and reasonable
guidelines for us to follow so that learning can take place without
disruptions.
Our school has been established for the benefit of all students, myself
included. The educational purpose of our school is accomplished best in a
climate of student behavior, which is socially acceptable and helpful to the
learning and teaching process. Student behavior, which disrupts this process
and infringes upon the rights of other individuals, will not be tolerated.
Excessive talking, loud outbursts, distracting noises, playful antics, and
other acts that disturb the smooth operation on my class and my teachers’
desire to do their jobs will not be tolerated. I am aware of these
guidelines and shall strive to do my best to cooperate with my teachers and
classmates. I am here to learn as much as I can and to cooperate so that
others are afforded the same opportunity.
Ultimately, I will gain from school according to the effort and attention
applied to my studies. I must show pride in myself as well as in my work. I
can accomplish a great deal this year if I show responsibility for my
actions and educational progress.
A key to achieving all of the above mentioned things is to first have self-
respect, respect for my peers and a deep respect for my parents and teachers
who work hared to provide me with good guidance, knowledge and understanding.
I have read, copied, and understood “Accepting Responsibility for my
Behavior”
