Library cards will be issued to each student
when they begin their first term at Holy Family Catholic School.
-
Students in grades 1-8th may have a total of
two books out at one time. They may renew books unless there is a waiting list
for the title. Kindergarten students may check-out only one book at a time.

The loan period for books will be for 2
weeks.
-
Students may request a specific title not
available when they visit the library by filling out a HOLDS form at the Media
Center. Our staff will inform the student when this title is available for
check-out by sending a note via the teacher.

Magazines may be checked out except for the
most recent issue of each title.

Books should be returned to the library early
in the morning whenever possible. However, we will accept returns at anytime
during open hours.

Students may not check-out new books until
overdue materials have been returned, and any an outstanding debt of over
$2.00 in overdue fines are cleared.

A fine of 10 cents per day per book will be
charged for late returns.

Lost or damaged books must be paid for, or a
copy of the title must be donated to the Media Center before students may
continue to checkout books.

Parents should contact the Media Center, ext.
247, if there is any questions or problems with their student's account.

Graduating 8th grade students must have a
clear Media/Library record before transcripts may be issued.
The Media Center is open 7:40am and closes at
3:30pm. everyday except Wednesdays when we close at 2:00pm.
