I have lived in Orlando since 1984 and share my living space with my family,
four cats, and a rascally chihuahua named Chino.
My degrees include a Masters of Library and Information Science from the
University of South Florida in Tampa, FL.
My favorite type of literature for relaxation reading are fantasy and
historical novels. Some of my favorite illustrators for children's books are
Rosemary Wells, Tommy De Paola, Ruth Hellert.
To inspire and instill an appreciation and love of books and reading , as
well as guide all students in becoming information literate. Information
Literacy is the ability not only to find and retrieve information but to be
able to sort and analyse the ever increasing volume of data available.
Equally important is to understand how to use this information in an ethical
way.
