5th Grade Class Service project
The fifth grade class has adopted Maria Manor/Bon Secour as our service
project for this school year. Here is a brief outline of some of the things
we will do for the residents there:

We will pair up with residents and become pen pals with them. We will write
them at least monthly. Along with this we will do a monthly activity for
them.
•November – we will share some of our Halloween candy.

•December – we will take a field trip to visit residents and our pen pals.
We will do a Christmas activity with pen pals.

•January – we will make/decorate calendars for the new year and send them to
the residents.

•February – we will send Valentine’s and flowers to both facilities.

•March – we will do something to honor St. Patrick’s Day and send to
residents.

•April – We will send cards for Easter.

•May – we will visit residents again.

All students will be encouraged to visit this facility on their own
throughout the year and pray daily for the people who live there. We are all
very excited about this project!
