TO PARENTS OF MUSIC MINISTRY STUDENTS  (VERY IMPORTANT)

 

Thank you for allowing your child to participate in Music Ministry this year. We are very excited about our program this year and look forward to all the wonderful music the students will make!

 

By attending the Music Ministry Camp your child is automatically signed up for Music Ministry. Please disregard any additional sign up forms that may come home. Those are for students who were unable to attend the camp or are new to our school.

 

Due to strict regulations from the diocese and our school policy we are requiring parents to inform us in advance if your child is unable to attend a scheduled practice. You must send in a note the day before or the morning of the practice if your child will not be in attendance. We can not begin practice until we can account for each student. If your child is absent that day, we have that documentation. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter!

 

Music Ministry is a year-long commitment. Students new to our school are given the first month as a “trial run.” If after a month the student decides he/she does not want to be part of Music Ministry, that child may drop out. Students who have been at Holy Family know what they are getting in to!!!! There is no “trial-run” for them! Since we are working as a group, each individual is important. Therefore it is important that each student honors their commitment for the year.

REGARDING PICK UP

 

All students will be dismissed from Music Ministry practice in the “Carpool” line at school. We will bring the students to this area and we ask that you line up in the same manner you do for regular school dismissal. Please do not use the circle area near church to pick up your child.

 

Please complete and return the attached form with your child by August 28th.

MUSIC MINISTRY PARENT/CHILD CONTRACT AND INFORMATION SHEET

 

My child _______________________will be a part of Music Ministry for the school year 2009-2010. I understand that my child is required to attend the scheduled Music Ministry practices on Wednesdays from 2:55-4:00PM.

 

In the event that my child is unable to attend a practice I will send a note the day before or the day of the practice date for which my child will be unable to attend.

 

We understand that this is a year-long commitment.
