Dear Parents,
We had a great time at the Art Festival on Friday. The children we very well behaved as they walked through and participated in different activities.
There is a list of new words for our last story in the Imagine It! unit. The story is Cesar Chavez. Please see our Spelling and Vocabulary section of this web page.
I have shared the following information just in case you are wondering what your child will do this summer.
Camp for the summer!
Please read the following message about a summer camp that is being offered. These camps fill fast so I want you to be the first to know!
Dear Magnet Lab Educators,
We are pleased to announce that due to the successful experience with the Magnet Lab Summer Camp in 2011, Carlos Villa has decided to have two one-week camps this summer! The camps are co-educational. The first camp will be June 11th through the 15th and the second camp will be June 18th-22nd.
Camp Details
Dates: June 11-15 and June 18-22, 2012
Cost: $200
Camp hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday
We are letting you know first so that you can inform your students about the camp application which is due by April 6th and can be found at

We also are looking for teachers who might be interested in working with Mr. Villa on this program. If you are interested in working with both or either camps please contact Mr. Villa at
