In seeking a high school, all 8th graders should log on to: www.dadeschools.net
On the left, click on SCHOOLS and then school information in the submenu.
When the window opens, you will click on high schools.
The list is alphabetized.  When you click on a high school, the first screen will present minimal information.
Look for the website address, click on it, and you will be able to thoroughly research the school.
 
It is so important to investigate the different schools prior to the school presentations. You will be prepared and able to ask questions not addressed on line.
 
When you submit your high school letters of recommendation to me for your teachers, make certain that you have:
 
  1. Filled out all personal information.
  2. If the form needs your parents' signatures, make certain this has been done.
  3. For each form, submit a self addressed envelope and sufficient postage for each.
