great work.

3.  Word study:  imbroglio, fisticuffs, slugfest, donnybrook, brouhaha
4.  Beginnings-  Did you begin your last piece in the beginning, in the middle
or at the end of the jumble story?  Why? 
5. Intro persuasive-  Great beginnings  (6.7.8)
6.  Limericks-Ongoing assignment for the 6th and 7th graders  Keep working on
them until you have ten really good ones. 


I thought of this one during the night, and revised it later.  I'm still
working on it.  

There once was a man named Peppard
Who inherited ten gallons of lard
He slipped and he slid
Into cars! Yes he did!
And that was the end of Peppard.
