 Character Education - Wall of FameCHARACTER EDUCATION
Each month students are re-introduced to one of the District's 9 Core Values of Character with a short lesson, and video presentation. After each lesson, students democratically select the individual in the room who best represents that character trait. I then take their picture, place it in a certificate, and place it on our WALL OF FAME for that month! At the end of the end of each month I laminate the winners and pass them out to the student to keep. It is my hope that they keep the certificates for many, many, many, years to come. Follow - up: at the end of this school year students reported on their in-class evaluations that I have helped to make them "better people." WOW! They've done the same for me.
