April 11 and 12 ALL CLASSES!!!!

Since we will be in homeroom for more than 2 weeks, I have planned

assignments for you to continue working so that your brain does not turn to

mush. One of them, is the end-of-the-year project that you would have to do

anyway...the other is a time line to encourage you to complete Chapter 6.

This

time line will be your ASSESSMENT for chapter 6 instead of a test!

1) Time line Title = "The History of the Israelites to the Development of

Judaism". Create a timeline summarizing the history of the Israelites to the

development of Judaism, Ch. 6 Lessons 1-4. Include between 15-20 significant

dates in the history of the Israelites and place them sequentially on a time

line. Include images and symbols on the time line.

HINT: To organize this activity...IF I WERE YOU, I WOULD 1st create a list of

#s1-20, go to the first page of Ch.6 Lesson 1 and begin scanning for dates on

every page of the chapter..as you find a date write it in your numbered list

in order, along with the event that took place. When your numbered list is

done, you can draw a beautiful time line and start placing each event in

order. Use a pencil first. Add ink, color and drawings/pictures last.

****YOU SHOULD USE PAPER BETWEEN 2-4 FEET LONG! The best ones will be

laminated and hung in our room or hallways:)

2) Part I. of "I-Teach" project is due May 6th or sooner! See "projects"

above.
