NPR discussion of Jargon (political slant involved)
Most of the course focuses on argument--building one, analyzing
one. This site takes you through the steps of looking at claims,
reasons, and evidence. Doing this process will be a big help.

****This is an amazing and FREE site that will enhance your
verbal skills as well as your vocabulary. I can follow a
student's progress and see how he/she is doing on the
activities. Many of the words are ones on the AP Language word
lists, and working through the SAT questions should help
considerably on the October PSAT.
